TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — In June 2014 the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office investigated allegations of sexual battery made by several residents of Excelsior House Sober Living Facilities in Lake Charles against the owner, Eric W. Duplechin, 801 Tulane St., and resident, Kenton N. Thibodeaux, 3740 Kirkman St., both of Lake Charles. The findings from this investigation were turned over to the District Attorney’s Office in October.

On February 3, 2015 the DA’s Office accepted the charges of three counts of sexual battery against both Duplechin and Thibodeaux.

CPSO Vice arrests man at I-10 Beach for Sexual Battery

TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On July 29, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Vice detectives arrested George K. Dion, 79, 501 Roberts Street, DeRidder, after he sexually assaulted a detective during an undercover investigation at the I-10 beach.

Dion was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with sexual battery. He was released on a $5,000 bond set by Judge Robert Wyatt.

CPSO re-arrests man for Sexual Battery and Battery of the Infirmed

TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — Today, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office re-arrested Austin L. Dailey, 20, Moss Bluff, at the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged him with 2 counts of sexual battery and battery of the infirmed.

Dailey was previously arrested on June 24 after an investigation revealed during a verbal altercation between Dailey and a 7 month pregnant victim, Dailey punched, pushed and put his hands around the victim’s neck and choked her. Dailey also held a knife against the victim’s forearm, leaving an abrasion. When an 80 year old family member of Dailey’s attempted to help the victim, he was also struck by Dailey. He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with aggravated battery; possession of CDS IV (Alprazolam); exploitation of the infirmed; and domestic abuse battery against a pregnant victim.

CPSO arrests Local Therapist for Sexual Battery

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — In August 2013, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives received a complaint from a woman advising her mental health therapist, Christopher K. Hay, 41, 3857 S. Jasmine Drive, Lake Charles, sexually assaulted her during a counseling session at his office.

When appearing before the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners on September 18, 2013, Hay confirmed he made sexual comments and had inappropriate sexual contact with the victim, during counseling sessions, and consented to the revocation of his Licensed Professional Counselor license.

After a 7 month investigation, Hay was indicted on 1 count of sexual battery by a Calcasieu Parish Grand Jury on March 27 and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On January 25, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies patrolling in the area of Smith Road in Lake Charles came in contact with Jonathan J. Singleton, 20, 3104 Landfair Street, Lake Charles, and a 14 year old female, who were walking on the roadway.

During an initial interview, Singleton advised deputies that he had inappropriate sexual contact with the 14 year old girl, who was an acquaintance.

Singleton and the 14 year old girl were transported to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, where the investigation was turned over to detectives. When questioned by detectives, Singleton confirmed he had inappropriate sexual contact with the 14 year old girl on numerous occasions since November 2012.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On July 11, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding Paul E. Atkinson, Jr., 44, 104 Hereford Road, Ragley, having inappropriate sexual contact on numerous occasions with a 4 year old girl between May and June. Atkinson was a family acquaintance.

On August 22, Atkinson was arrested and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with sexual battery.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On June 7, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched after receiving a report of Casey B. LeDoux, 23, 907 Parish Road, Vinton, sexually assaulting a 3 year old girl while she visited family at a Vinton home. LeDoux was an acquaintance of the victim’s family.

Further investigation was conducted and Judge Clayton Davis signed a warrant for LeDoux’s arrest.

Tarver, 70, 7048 Tom Hebert Road, Lake Charles, having inappropriate sexual contact on numerous occasions with a girl who was 11 years old at the time between 2008 and 2011. Tarver was a family acquaintance.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On December 24, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office responded after receiving a call regarding a sexual battery of a juvenile. The caller advised she witnessed Jeffrey W. Cormier, 36, Hayes, having inappropriate sexual contact with an 8 year old girl. After further investigation Cormier, who is an acquaintance of the victim’s family, was arrested and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with sexual battery. View full article »
