TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — In a continuing effort to keep the citizens of Calcasieu Parish safe, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a DWI/seatbelt checkpoint at an undisclosed location in the parish on Thursday September 25.

This checkpoint will target individuals driving under the influence of alcohol and/or narcotics; as well as, people who are not wearing their seatbelt.

TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On Friday, June 20, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a seatbelt checkpoint at an undisclosed location in the parish.

“Conducting these checkpoints is a vital part in an overall effort to ensure the safety of our citizens,” says Sheriff Tony Mancuso. “It has been proven that wearing a seat belt can save a life.”

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — In a continuing effort to keep the citizens of Calcasieu Parish safe, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a DWI checkpoint at an undisclosed location in the parish on Friday, May 31.

This checkpoint will target individuals driving under the influence of alcohol and/or narcotics, which has been proven to be very effective in discouraging citizens from driving while impaired and people are more likely to designate a driver when they know sobriety checkpoints are being conducted. The checkpoint will also target people who are not wearing their seatbelt.
