TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — Detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Sex Crimes Unit are attempting to locate an unknown male in reference to a forcible rape. He is known to frequent Club Y2K, which is located on Broad Street and Kings Travel Plaza, which is located at Shattuck Street and I-10 in Lake Charles.

The man sells clothing belts outside of those establishments. He appears to drive a blue Dodge full size truck, possibly a four door or extended cab truck with a bed cover and oversized rims. He answers to the name of “Ceasar”.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On October 25, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding the sexually assault of a 35 year old woman.

The investigation revealed Nicolas Rodriguez, 37, 1712 Enterprise Blvd, Lake Charles, who is an acquaintance of the victim, forcefully raped her.

After further investigation, Rodriguez was arrested on November 7, booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with forcible rape.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On May 30, 1991, a victim was attacked at one location and transported to another location where she was sexually assaulted by an unknown black male suspect. A sexual assault kit was completed and submitted into evidence. At the time of the initial investigation there were no leads.

In May 2013, the Lake Charles Police Department submitted DNA samples to the Calcasieu Parish Crime Lab from this 1991 Sexual Assault case. In June 2013 results indicated that DNA from Joseph Bargeman matched samples from that sexual assault kit collected in 1991.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On February 16, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a Lake Charles home regarding a report of an attempted rape.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the 19 year old victim who advised her roommate allowed Hunter J. Leger, 21, 634 Arsene Lebleu Road, Lake Charles, to sleep on the couch at their home because he had been drinking. During the early morning hours, Leger entered the victim’s room while she slept and attempted to rape her.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On January 17, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding Christopher S. Benoit, 40, 2212 Hillary Drive, Vinton, having inappropriate sexual contact with a female family member on numerous occasions, beginning in 2009 when the girl was 9 years old.

After further investigation, Benoit was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 2 counts of aggravated rape; and 1 count of aggravated incest.

Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $270,000.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On May 24, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched regarding a report of a rape. The 15 year old female victim stated Lorenza J. Fontenot, 36, 1404 St. Mary Street, Lake Charles, who is a family member, took her to a local boat launch during the early morning hours and forcefully raped her.

Further investigation was conducted and on June 27 Judge Clayton Davis signed a warrant for Fontenot’s arrest.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On January 14, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding Robert P. Prestenbach, Jr., 49, 638 Debra Lane, Moss Bluff, having inappropriate sexual contact with a female family acquaintance, beginning in 2006 when the girl was 6 years old.

Further investigation was conducted and on May 31, Prestenbach was indicted for 1 count of aggravated rape by a Calcasieu Grand Jury and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arrested on June 1 and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — In October 2011, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding Melvin P. Fox, 43, 407 N. Seventh Street, Oakdale, formerly of Lake Charles, having inappropriate sexual contact with a boy who was 11 years old at the time between 2008 and 2009. Fox was a family acquaintance.

Further investigation was conducted and on April 5, Fox was indicted for 1 count of aggravated rape by a Calcasieu Grand Jury and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Oakdale Police Department, with information provided to them by CPSO detectives, located and arrested Fox. He was transported and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center on April 13.
