TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On December 30, 2014 at approximately 4:00 p.m., a female was walking in the parking lot at Kroger’s (139 W McNeese Street) when a female suspect snatched her purse and fled. Two witnesses chased and apprehended the suspect. A male accomplice then approached the witnesses and produced a firearm. The female suspect was released and both suspects fled in a vehicle. Subsequent investigation revealed that the suspects were Stacy Dawn Browning and Evan Kade Hermann.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On April 9, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a business on Derek Drive in Lake Charles regarding a purse snatching.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the elderly victim who advised a woman, later identified as Kelli R. LeBlanc, 20, 1500 N. Adams Street, Ragley, befriended her in the store and when the victim was distracted, LeBlanc stole the victim’s purse from her shopping cart and fled the store.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On July 27, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local casino regarding a purse snatching.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who advised her purse, which contained a gold chain, credit cards, and the keys to her car, was stolen as she walked to her car in the casino parking lot.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On July 5, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home on 15th Street in Lake Charles in reference to a burglary.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who advised while she slept, her home was burglarized and several items were stolen from her home including her purse, which contained cash and several credit cards, and over $9,500 worth of electronic items including three laptops, and a digital camera.

Deputies also spoke with witnesses who observed several male suspects enter the victim’s home and moments later flee on foot carrying numerous items.
