ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On February 18, 2014, a 29 year-old female came to the Lake Charles Police Department and reported that she had been beaten, tied up and held against her will. The female was held at gun point for several days and had signs of being assaulted. The victim stated she went to the suspects address on her own and an argument ensued. When the victim tried to leave, the suspect began beating her. According to the victim, she was tied up and beaten by the suspect with a weapon. When the victim tried to leave, the suspect threatened her with the weapon.

Detectives then presented an affidavit for a search warrant and arrest warrant to a 14th Judicial Judge. Both were signed and the search warrant was executed at the suspects’ residence (2960 Lake Street – Apartment 298). Evidence collected from the residence supports the complaint.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On June 8, 2013 at approximately 12:16 a.m., Lake Charles Police Corporal Keith Bertrand and Corporal Brenda Desormeaux were dispatched to 4447 Lake St (Shop Rite) for a hold up alarm.

Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the store clerk who stated a black male suspect entered the east side door displaying a black revolver while ordering him to open the register. The black male suspect removed money from the register and took a carton of Kool cigarettes before fleeing the store. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a blue/white/red hooded type long sleeved shirt, long light blue jean shorts, and white tennis shoes. He was wearing black gloves and brandishing a black long barreled revolver in his right hand.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On Thursday, July 19, 2012, The Lake Charles Police Department investigated 2 separate robberis with a matter of hours involving the same suspect.

At approximately 1:24am, Officers responded to 107 Jefferson (Circle K) in reference to an armed robbery. The suspect entered the business with a blunt object and made off with undisclosed amount of US currency.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On December 14 around 2:00 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched in reference to a burglary alarm at a local store on Lake Street in Lake Charles.

When deputies arrived, they discovered the back door of the business was open and had been damaged. After deputies cleared the store checking for possible subjects, the store manager arrived and was able to access video surveillance footage. The video captured a man entering through the back door of the store and stealing miscellaneous items. After viewing the video, deputies were able to get a detailed description of the suspect, including the clothing he was wearing. View full article »
