In the wake of a family dispute that spilled into the media, the living arrangements and guardianship of Michael Jackson’s three children are expected to be determined by an upcoming court hearing.

A lawyer representing Katherine Jackson, the pop superstar’s 82-year-old mother, said he will file legal documents that would make the children’s cousin TJ Jackson a co-guardian. The plan appears designed to remove pressure from Katherine Jackson who was named in her son’s will as the children’s sole guardian.

A bus carrying Israeli youth exploded Wednesday in a Bulgarian resort, killing at least four people and wounded more than two dozen, police and hospital officials said. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it “an Iranian terror attack” and promised a tough response.

The explosion took place in the Black Sea city of Burgas, some 400 kilometers (250 miles) east of the capital, Sofia. TV images showed smoke billowing from the scene – a parking lot at the local airport, where the Israeli tourists had apparently just landed. Several buses and cars were on fire near the shell of the exploded vehicle.

Local ad agencies in Washington, D.C., should be encouraged to create ads to “really brainwash people” to give up their interest in guns, Eric Holder once told a Democratic women’s group, according to a newly dug-up video showing a younger version of the current attorney general.

In the 1995 video, Holder, who at the time was U.S. attorney for the crime-ridden District of Columbia under President Bill Clinton, said persuading kids to reject guns was not going to be easy to do since they were so prevalent in movies, TV and music. View full article »

A Boston woman was undergoing psychiatric evaluation Thursday after she robbed a bank and attempted to give away the money to children at a park.

Jasmin Rivera, 30, was charged with armed robbery after she entered a Citizens Bank in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood Wednesday at around 3:00pm and told employees she had a gun, The Boston Globe reported. View full article »
