TOTALLY HITS RADIO |LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On January 25, 2015 at 12:16 a.m., Lake Charles Police Officers responded to a suspicious circumstances call at 4245 5th Avenue.

While investigating this complaint, officers discovered the deceased body of a 22-year old black female, identified as Octavia Nicole Jack. Further investigation revealed that the victim suffered from multiple stab wounds. The victim’s boyfriend, Christopher White, (black male, age 30) was identified as the suspect in Jack’s death.

TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2:07 a.m., Officers with the Lake Charles Police Department were dispatched to 2706 Allen Street in reference to a shooting. The caller stated that two individuals were shot and one possibly deceased.

Upon arrival, Officers found one individual deceased and one subject was in need of medical attention due to a gunshot wound. A third subject was also located and in need of medical attention from being beaten.

CPSO investigating Homicide in Sulphur

TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — Shortly before 7:00 a.m. today, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a welfare concern at 1026 Koonce Rd in Sulphur. A family member called to say she had not seen or spoken to her relative, Pamela Parker, in a couple of days.

When deputies arrived and entered the home, they found Parker, 66, deceased in her home. Time of death is undetermined at this time; however her death has been ruled a homicide.

LCPD: Homicide on Allen St in Lake Charles

TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 1:57am, officers of the Lake Charles Police Department were dispatched to 2706 Allen Street in reference to the report of a shooting at that location. Upon arrival officers located a black male, later identified as Wilbert J. LaFleur III of Lake Charles, deceased in the front yard of that residence. Corporals Mitch Sawyer and Kirk Dugas along with Officer Jeremy Sherman handled the initial investigation.

Through the course of the investigation into this incident, Richard Moss, 60 years old of Lake Charles, was charged with 2nd Degree Murder. He was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center. His bond is pending, no picture available at this time.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — At 4:30 yesterday afternoon, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a shooting at 2500 Smith Rd., Lot #25, Lake Charles. The investigation reveals Felton P. Boutte, 43, arrived at the mobile home and got into a verbal altercation with Johnathan J. Guillory, 27. The altercation turned physical and was broken up by a family member. Guillory retrieved a gun from a back room of the mobile home and shot Boutte. Boutte was pronounced dead at the scene.

Guillory fled the scene after the shooting but was apprehended by deputies in the mobile home park within minutes of their arrival. Guillory was arrested and when booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center later this evening will be charged with 2nd degree murder.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On January 10, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to Friesen Road, just east of Tom Hebert Road in Lake Charles, regarding a deceased woman, later identified as Mychele Cleaver, 48, found in a ditch.

When deputies arrived, they discovered Cleaver had sustained trauma to the head.

During further investigation, CPSO detectives spoke with Dwane E. Fox, 47, 4016 Harvard Street, Lake Charles, boyfriend of Cleaver, who confirmed to beating and choking Cleaver at his home and later dumping her body in the ditch near Friesen Road.

CPSO ARRESTS MAN FOR 2ND DEGREE BATTERY

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On January 10, 2013 Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatch to a body found off of East Friesen Road and Corbina Road.  The victim has been identified as Mychele Cleaver, white female 48 years of age.  An arrest has been made on Dwayne Fox, date of birth 7/10/1965 4016 Harvard Street of Lake Charles.

Chief Deputy Stitch Guillory will be holding a press briefing today, Friday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office in the Sheriff’s conference room, in reference to yesterday’s homicide.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On December 2, 2012 at 6:34 p.m., Officers with The Lake Charles Police Department were dispatched to 3214 Louisiana Avenue in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, they located the victim, Anthony Batiste (26 yoa), inside the residence. He appeared to have been shot. He was transported to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigation revealed that Batiste was shot as a result of a domestic disturbance. Two arrests have been made in the case and are listed below.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On Sunday, December 2, 2012 at approximately 11:57 a.m., Lake Charles Police Department received a call at 1700 2nd Street, Apartment 1004, in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, Officers located a black male, identified as Quentin Lorden, with a stab wound. Lorden was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives learned that Quentin Lorden was at the residence visiting with two females when his girlfriend entered the residence. At that time, a verbal argument ensued between Lorden and his girlfriend.
