ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On Tuesday, March 18, between 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched regarding two separate reports of attempted robberies, one at the Five-Star convenience store and the other at Gillis Grocery, both on Highway 171 North in Moss Bluff.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered the subjects, described as two white men and two white women between 20 and 30 years old, used intimidation in an attempt to demand money from the store clerks. The suspects left without any money, then fled in a newer model, white Chevrolet Suburban with a dent in the driver’s front quarter panel. One of the women is described as being 5’4” tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds with straight black shoulder length hair.
