TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On May 14, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to call at a local hospital concerning an 8 year old girl having severe burns on both her hands and numerous marks all over her body. Once detectives arrived the child stated that Kerrian Javana Clofer, 26, Elms Street, Lake Charles, had held her hands over the open flame of a gas stove after she ate a snack without permission.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On February 18, 2014, a 29 year-old female came to the Lake Charles Police Department and reported that she had been beaten, tied up and held against her will. The female was held at gun point for several days and had signs of being assaulted. The victim stated she went to the suspects address on her own and an argument ensued. When the victim tried to leave, the suspect began beating her. According to the victim, she was tied up and beaten by the suspect with a weapon. When the victim tried to leave, the suspect threatened her with the weapon.
Detectives then presented an affidavit for a search warrant and arrest warrant to a 14th Judicial Judge. Both were signed and the search warrant was executed at the suspects’ residence (2960 Lake Street – Apartment 298). Evidence collected from the residence supports the complaint.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On February 7, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives received a report of domestic battery and false imprisonment.
The victim advised detectives while she and an 8 month old family member were visiting Reiko N. Johnson, Jr., 35, Lake Charles, an acquaintance, he grabbed her from behind and put her in a choke hold. Johnson continued to choke the victim while dragging her across the living room into the kitchen area, where he released his grip on her neck and threatened the victim and the 8 month old with a kitchen knife.
