ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Compliance and Awareness Program Unit (CAP) arrested convicted sex offenders Dallas E. Clement, 52, 2512 Davis Road, Westlake, and Randal J. Rougeau, 43, 419 S. Storer Street, Apt. B, Iowa, after an investigation revealed both failed to comply with their in-person registration as required by law for all registered sex offenders.

Clement, who was convicted of aggravated incest in October 2007 and also convicted of indecent behavior with a juvenile in April 2005, both in Calcasieu Parish, was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on March 12 and was charged with failure to register as a sex offender and released on a $7,500 bond set by Judge Kent Savoie.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On February 14, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a stop on a car at the intersection of S. Beglis Pkwy and Maplewood Drive in Sulphur for a traffic violation.

When deputies spoke with the driver, Jonathan E. Diaz, 28, 193 Allen Drive, Ragley, they discovered Diaz, a registered sex offender from Colorado County, Texas, who was convicted of prohibited sexual acts in October 2003, has been living in Calcasieu Parish since May 2013 without notifying the proper authorities within three days, as required by law for all registered sex offenders.

Robinson, 32, 718 Tallow Road, Apt. # 5, Lake Charles, after an investigation revealed he had moved without notifying the proper authorities within three days, as required by law for all registered sex offenders.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On January 18, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a stop on a truck at the intersection of Carlyss and Currie Drive in Sulphur for a traffic violation.

When deputies spoke with the driver, convicted sex offender Wesley P. Vincent, 48, 1016 Kim Street, Sulphur, it was discovered he did not possess any form of identification, which is required by law for all registered sex offenders.

Vincent, who was convicted of indecent behavior with juveniles in Texas in September 1999, was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with failure to register as a sex offender; and driving under suspension.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On January 12, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a stop on a car at the intersection of N. Simmons and Medora Street in Lake Charles for a traffic violation.

During the investigation deputies spoke with passenger, Travis L. Joseph, 33, 8326 Church Street, Vacherie, LA, and discovered Joseph, a registered sex offender from St. James Parish who was convicted of indecent behavior with a juvenile in March 1999, had been living and working in Calcasieu Parish for the past month without notifying the proper authorities within three days, as required by law for all registered sex offenders.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On November 29, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies conducting extra patrol on a home on Harless Street in Lake Charles due to recent burglaries observed a man, later identified as sex offender Mark W. Williams, 54, 1706 Harless Street, Lake Charles, walking through the yard of the home.

When deputies approached Williams, he fled on foot and forced his way into the home. Deputies quickly apprehended Williams and during further investigation discovered the address listed on William’s Louisiana sex offender identification card was outdated and he had moved without notifying the proper authorities within three (3) days, as required by law for all registered sex offender.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested convicted sex offenders Willie R. Reese, Jr., 38, 7693 Lacassine Avenue, Hayes, and Brian R. Tate, 31, 6012 N. Market Street, Shreveport, after an investigation revealed both had moved without notifying the proper authorities within three days, as required by law for all registered sex offenders.

Both were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On January 28, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Compliance and Awareness Program Unit (CAP) received information from Allen Parish officials regarding convicted sex offender Ronnie L. Cowan, Jr., 38, formerly of Oakdale, possible residing in at a home on Jim Pickens Road in Sulphur.

CPSO Detectives located and arrested Cowan at 208 Jim Pickens Road, Sulphur, and he was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

As required by law, when a sex offender moves they must notify the parish/county they are registered in of their plan to move and then must register within three (3) days with the parish/county they have moved to.
