CPSO arrests man charged with Indecent Behavior With a Juvenile

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On February 26, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives received a complaint regarding Todd M. Falgout, 41, 1155 Hollie Lane, DeQuincy, having inappropriate sexual contact with a 15 year old female family acquaintance.

During the investigation, detectives discovered Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office and Cameron Parish Sherif’s Office are also working cases involving Falgout and the same 15 year old victim.

Falgout, who is currently incarcerated in Terrebonne Parish on unrelated charges, is currently awaiting extradition to Calcasieu Parish where he will be booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile; and carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On October 26 at approximately 7:35 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a DeQuincy convenience store in reference to disturbance.

Upon arrival deputies were advised a 15 year old boy was observed in the back seat of a truck in the store parking lot with an older woman who was engaging in inappropriate sexual activity with the boy, while a 14 year old boy sat in the front seat of the truck. The woman, identified as Cindy L. Brakeman, 20, 1600 W. Fourth Street, Lot A, DeQuincy, was arrested and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile; and indecent behavior with juveniles.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES LA. — On March 22, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a school in DeQuincy after receiving a complaint from school officials regarding Mary A. Jordan, 42, 719 Roland Patillo Road, DeQuincy, physically abusing a 10 year old family member who is a student at the school.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered Jordan struck the victim on his back with a belt, causing multiple severe bruises.

After further investigation, Jordan was arrested on March 22 and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with cruelty to a juvenile. She has been released on a $15,000 bond set by Judge Robert Wyatt.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On November 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., the Lake Charles Police Department arrested a DeQuincy Police Officer for DWI, Hit and Run and Reckless Operation of a motor vehicle. Lake Charles Police began receiving calls about a marked DeQuincy Police unit operating recklessly, striking a fence at 229 West School Street and a tree at the intersection of Bayou Drive and Orchard Drive.

Upon arrival at Bayou and Orchard, Lake Charles Police Officers located the Dequincy Police unit stuck in a wooded area south of Orchard Drive. Officers came into contact with the driver who was identified as 30 year old Matthew Sollay of Lake Charles. It was confirmed that Sollay was a police officer with the DeQuincy Police Department and was off-duty at the time of the incident.

In early 2007, the Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (C.A.T. Team) received several complaints regarding Terry T. Holmes, 37, 405 Booker Street, DeQuincy, distributing powder cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana to street level dealers in the DeQuincy area. According to complaints, Holmes and his girlfriend at the time, Savannah Taylor, 26, operated a laundry mat next door to their home. View full article »

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — In October 2011, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched in reference to a theft that occurred on No Name Road in DeQuincy.

When deputies spoke with the victim, he advised while checking on his hunting lease property, he discovered his 4×8 deer stand with tower and Moultrie game camera, valued at over $1,800, was missing. View full article »

Jamison, 64, DeQuincy, formerly of Washington County, New York, and charged him with failure to register as a sex offender, after receiving information from Louisiana State Police that he may be residing in Calcasieu Parish. Bilodeau, Sr., 38, DeQuincy, and charged him with failure to register as a sex offender, after an investigation revealed he had moved without notifying the proper authorities within three (3) days, as required by law for all registered sex offenders. DEQUINCY MAN ARRESTED FOR THEFT

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — on July 19, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a theft and criminal trespassing that had occurred in Vinton on July 15.

When detectives spoke with the victim, he advised them he received a call from a neighbor notifying him that a white truck was seen leaving his residence pulling a trailer with the victim’s tractor on it. The victim was able to locate the white truck pulling the trailer, driven by Jeffery S. Armistead, 34, 257 Grape Street, DeQuincy, on Highway 109 in Vinton. When the victim confronted Armistead, he fled on I-10 westbound in the truck towing the tractor on the trailer. View full article »
