ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On September 18, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (C.A.T. Team) Detectives Sgt. Jeff Cole and Cpl. Chris Johnson were working as a two-man unit when they conducted a stop on a car traveling eastbound on I-10 near the Cameron/Creole exit for a traffic violation.

The driver of the car, Virginia K. Bolton, 29, 391 Ling Street, Houston, and passenger George L. Williams, Jr., 34, 648 Sycamore, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, who were accompanied by a 5 year old family member, advised detectives they were traveling from Houston to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On May 18, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (C.A.T. Team) Detective Cpl. Kevin Hoover conducted a stop on a car for a traffic violation near mile marker 14 eastbound on I-10.

When Cpl. Hoover spoke with the driver, Sharon M. Leblanc, 44, of Lafayette, LA, she began to act suspiciously.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On March 19, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (C.A.T. Team) Cpl. Kevin Hoover attempted to conduct a stop on a car near mile marker 10 traveling eastbound on I-10 for a traffic violation. When Cpl. Hoover activated his unit’s lights and sirens signaling for the driver to stop, the driver did not comply and continued to flee from him. The driver, later identified as Kanarriso D. Loveless, 39, 7791 Aaron Drive, Pensacola, Florida, began to drive very aggressively, traveling at speeds in excess of 120 mph and passing other vehicles on the shoulder of the interstate. ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — During the early morning hours of January 17, a Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy patrolling in Sulphur observed three individuals, later identified as Larry W. Cain, 30, Sulphur, Melinda L. Cain, 29, Hackberry, and Jeremy P. Broussard, 40, Sulphur, at the Anthony Ferry Boat Launch.

Further investigation by the deputy revealed Larry and Melinda Cain, and Broussard were in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine. View full article »
