Nicki Minaj helped open the MTV Video Music Awards with a “Bang” on Sunday as she brought her “Anaconda” video to life with a rump-shaking performance and had a wardrobe malfunction when she joined Ariana Grande and Jessie J. on stage.

Minaj first wore a green top and shorts, rapping, dancing and exciting the crowd — except Rita Ora, who stared blankly when the camera panned by. But when Minaj performed “Bang Bang,” the rapper was suddenly subdued as she held the front of her outfit together after a long split appeared.

Nick Cannon confirms Reports of Split from Mariah Carey

Nick Cannon has confirmed he and wife Mariah Carey are separated.

“There is trouble in paradise,” Cannon told The Insider With Yahoo on Thursday. “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.”

The actor, producer and television personality didn’t reveal the cause of the separation, but he did squash the notion that infidelity was a factor.

Casey Kasem to be buried in Oslo, says Norway Press

The body of the US DJ, Casey Kasem, is to be moved to Oslo, according to reports in the Norwegian newspaper VG.

A government official told the paper an application had been made to bury Kasem’s remains in the city.

His body was moved by his wife, Jean, to Ontario in Canada after he died, aged 82, in the US state of Washington in June.

Official: Robin Williams hanged himself with Belt

Struggling with depression, Robin Williams tried to cut his wrist and hanged himself with a belt in a bedroom of his San Francisco Bay Area home, officials said Tuesday.

His wife likely was home at the time but was unaware, Marin County Sheriff’s Lt. Keith Boyd said.

Boyd said Williams was last seen alive by his wife Sunday night when she went to bed. She woke up the next morning and left, thinking he was still asleep elsewhere in the home.

Comedian Robin Williams dead in Apparent Suicide

Oscar-winner Robin Williams, whose free-form comedy and adept impressions dazzled audiences for decades, has died in an apparent suicide. He was 63.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office says Williams was pronounced dead at his home in California on Monday. The sheriff’s office says a preliminary investigation shows the cause of death to be a suicide due to asphyxia.
