CPSO arrests two for Sexual Battery
TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — In June 2014 the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office investigated allegations of sexual battery made by several residents of Excelsior House Sober Living Facilities in Lake Charles against the owner, Eric W. Duplechin, 801 Tulane St., and resident, Kenton N. Thibodeaux, 3740 Kirkman St., both of Lake Charles. The findings from this investigation were turned over to the District Attorney’s Office in October.
On February 3, 2015 the DA’s Office accepted the charges of three counts of sexual battery against both Duplechin and Thibodeaux.
Judge Ron Ware signed the warrant for their arrest and set their bond at $21,000 each. On February 23, Duplechin and Thibodeaux were arrested and booked in the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with three counts of sexual battery. Judge Ware later reduced their bonds to $9.000 each.
