TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On November 3, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home in DeQuincy in reference to a theft of a cell phone. The victim told deputies he was contacted by Benjamin Lindemann, 27, 6659 McCown Road, Iowa, in reference to a vehicle the victim had for sale. The victim said on November 2, he picked Lindemann up so he could test drive the vehicle.

After the test drive, Lindemann told the victim he was not interested in the vehicle and asked to be dropped off at a location in Moss Bluff which was a different location from where he was picked up.After the victim dropped off Lindemann he realized his cell phone was missing.

On January 20, after further investigation Judge Michael Canaday signed a warrant for Lindemann with a bond of $1,000. On January 21, Lindemann was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with theft under $750.

CPSO Deputy Freddy Galicia was the arresting officer on this case.
