TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — During the months of September, October and November the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives were contacted by seven people who were victims of identity theft.

The investigation revealed Chris W. Breaux, 33, 5831 South 40 Court, Iowa, went online and stole the identity of these seven people to open up credit card accounts, apply for loans, and purchase items.

Breaux was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on November 20 and charged with seven (7) counts of identity theft; six (6) counts of fraudulent acquisition of credit card; five (5) counts of bank fraud; and seven (7) counts of computer fraud.

Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $150,000.
The investigation is continuing with more charges possible.

CPSO Detectives John Melton and Tim Milburn are the lead investigators in this case.
