On September 22, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local store where a woman attempted to purchase a flat screen TV with 6 – $100 counterfeit bills. When she realized the employee knew the money was counterfeit, she fled the store.
