TOTALLY HITS RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On July 5, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched regarding a complaint of a 16 month old boy who returned home with numerous bruises on his legs and buttocks after visiting family member Maegan A. Guillory, 19, 2855 Maurine Street, Sulphur. When questioned by detectives on July 8, Guillory confirmed she struck the victim with her hand, causing numerous bruises to the child’s leg and buttocks.

Guillory was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with cruelty to a juvenile. Judge Ron Ware set her bond at $3,500.

On February 12, CPSO detectives received a complaint regarding Chase A. Jardneaux, 25, 2850 Avondale Street, Sulphur, physically abusing a 5 year old male family member. Detectives learned Jardneaux struck the boy with a belt causing bruises to his leg. An investigation was conducted and turned over to the District Attorney’s Office and on April 11, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On July 8, Jardneaux turned himself into the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office and was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. He is charged with cruelty to a juvenile and released on a $5,000 bond set by Judge Sharon Wilson.
