ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On Wednesday, April 02, 2014, Officers with the Lake Charles Police Department were dispatched to the 4500 block of 5th Avenue in reference to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, Officers learned that four males robbed two individuals at gun point and stole their personal property. One victim attempted to flee the scene and was chased down and beaten after being caught by the suspects.

An off duty Calcasieu Parish Sheriffs Deputy was across the street and witnessed several males running across the crime scene and into an apartment. Responding Officers, with the assistance of the off duty Deputy, were able to locate four males matching the description of the suspects. Both victims were able to make a positive identification on the four individuals who robbed them.

Arrested and booked on Armed Robbery charges:

Sheldon Anthony Caesar – 1315 Mitchell Street, Lake Charles, LA – B/M, Age:17, DOB:09-30-96(Charge: Armed Robbery)

Henry Davis – 1712 Broadmoor Drive, Lake Charles, LA. – B/M, Age:20, DOB:02-08-94 (Charge: Armed Robbery)

(Juvenile) Age: 16 Charge: Armed Robbery

Bond has been set at $250,000.00 for each of the above subjects by 14th Judicial District Judge Michael Canaday.

Charged with Armed Robbery and Armed Robbery with a Firearm:

Joseph Shane Bartholomew – 2953 General Doolittle Street, Lake Charles, LA – B/M, Age: 19

Bartholomew’s bond has been set at $350,000.00 on Armed Robbery with a Firearm and Armed Robbery charge by 14th Judicial District Judge Michael Canaday.

Initial investigating Officer is Corporal Garrett Graham. Sergeant Franklin Fondel and Detective Kevin Thomas are handling the follow up investigation. Sergeant Craig Guillory, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, assisted in locating the four suspects.
