ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On Saturday, March 8, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to Four Corners convenience store, 2602 Highway 14 East, Lake Charles, in reference to an armed robbery.

Upon arrival deputies spoke with the store clerk who advised while in the parking lot after closing the store, he was approached by two men, one of which was armed with a handgun, who demanded money.

After stealing an undisclosed amount of money from the clerk, the two men forced the clerk back into the store where they stole several cartons of cigarettes. The two men then forced the store clerk into the trunk of his own car and locked him inside before fleeing on foot. The clerk, who had his car keys in his pocket, was able to open the trunk and free himself.

The Sheriff’s Office conducted an extensive search of the area but was unable to locate the suspects.
The suspects are described as two black men wearing a dark colored cloth covering their faces. One of the men was wearing military style camo pants, and a dark knit cap. The other man was wearing green camo pants and a dark hoodie.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in identifying these men. Anyone with information regarding the armed robbery or the two men shown in the photographs is asked to call CPSO at 491-3605.
