ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On September 18, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives received a call from the owner of a local business regarding an employee stealing from the company.

The owner advised he recently discovered former employee Kyle M. Lyons, 49, 1730 Deer Creek, Sulphur, charged customers directly for materials which were provided by the company for building projects and covered in the contracted price on several occasions over the last 3 months, and kept the money. When questioned by detectives, Lyons confirmed he collected over $1,000 of direct payments from customers.

Lyons was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged theft over $500.

Judge David Ritchie has set his bond at $25,000.

CPSO Detective Eddie Curol is the lead investigator on this case.
