ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On September 10, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a Lake Charles home in reference to a report of stalking and elderly abuse.

Upon arrival, deputies were advised over the past month, Patrick C. Miller, 55, 5000 Leon Drive, Lot #198, Lake Charles, has made several threatening and intimidating phone calls to two family members and has also shown up at their homes on numerous occasions.

During further investigation, CPSO detectives discovered Miller had also physically abused one of the family members, by grabbing the 84 year old victim with both hands and shaking him violently.

When questioned by detectives, Miller confirmed that he grabbed the elderly family member and shook him and also confirmed that he continuously called and went to the family member’s home even after numerous requests not to do so.

Miller was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 12 counts of stalking; and 1 count of cruelty to the infirmed.

Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $37,000.

CPSO Sr. Cpl. Chris Ramos and Deputy Keeba Barber were the arresting deputies.  CPSO Detective Mike Primeaux is the lead investigator on this case.
