ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On August 27, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Compliance and Awareness Program Unit (CAP) arrested convicted sex offender Andrew Moss, Jr., 31, 1916 Winterhalter Street, Apt. C, Lake Charles, and charged him with failure to register as a sex offender 2nd offense after an investigation revealed he had moved without notifying the proper authorities within three days, as required by law for all registered sex offenders.

Moss, who was previously convicted of failure to register as a sex offender in Calcasieu Parish in 2007 after he moved without notifying the proper authorities, was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

Moss was convicted of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile in Calcasieu Parish in November 2004.

Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $12,000.
