ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives have re-arrested Gerald B. Debarge, 47, 1330 W. McNeese Street, Apt. # 1102, Lake Charles, today after an investigation revealed he violated a protective order filed in March.

On August 16, CPSO detectives received a report from a woman advising over the last five months, she has received numerous harassing and intimidating text messages and phone calls from Debarge, with whom she had an active protective order against. The victim also advised detectives that she did not report the incidents because she was so fearful of Debarge, but when she saw he was incarcerated for stalking another woman she contacted the Sheriff’s Office.

Debarge was previously arrested on August 14 and charged with stalking after an investigation revealed he made several harassing comments to another victim on numerous occasions since June.

Judge Clayton Davis set his bond at $100,000 for the violation of a protective order charge, bringing his total bond to $325,000. Debarge has been incarcerated at the Calcasieu Correctional Center since his August 14 arrest.

CPSO Detective Chadwick LeJune is the lead investigator on both cases.
