ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On Tuesday, July 17, 2012, the Lake Charles Police Department Sex Offender Registration Division conducted an investigation concerning a subject who failed to Register as a Sex Offender and acquire a Louisiana Sex Offender ID as required by state law. As a result of the investigation, Detective M. Nicosia arrested the following person.
At approximately 9:00 a.m., Jason Ture Hendrickson, W/M, DOB: 7-30-1973 38yoa, traveled to the office of the Lake Charles Police Department Sex Offender Division, where he met with Detective M. Nicosia.
During the detective’s interview with Hendrickson, it was learned Hendrickson has been in Louisiana prior to July 1, 2012 due to an outstanding arrest warrant from Colorado for: Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. It was confirmed that Colorado would only extradite within the state of Colorado. Lake Charles Police Department verified that Hendrickson has a Lake Charles address and has not registered as required by state law.
Hendrickson was convicted in 1995 for Criminal Sexual Conduct in the 3rd degree with a 15 year old female in the state of Minnesota. Hendrickson is required by law to a lifetime Sex Offender Registration. Hendrickson was charged with LARS 15:542.1.4- Failure to Register/Notify as Sex Offender and LARS 40:1321.J.1-Sex Offender ID card must be Carried. Hendrickson’s bond was set at $75,000.00 by Judge Ron Ware.
