CPSO ARRESTS MOSS BLUFF MAN FOR BURGLARY IN PROGRESS

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On February 6, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home on Tallow Road regarding a report of a burglary.

When deputies arrived, they spoke with the victim who advised between February 4 – 6, nearby residents Jackie Trahan, 41, Tyler J. Trahan, 18, a 15 year old boy,  Tammi G. Trahan, Joshua M. Adaway, 33, and Christopher B. Goins, 18, all of Lake Charles, were seen entering the home and removing items.

When questioned by deputies, all confirmed they entered the home and stole numerous items including furniture, televisions, computers, and other household items. After receiving permission from the home owners, deputies conducted a search of 718 Tallow Road, Lot # 19 and 806 Tallow Road, recovering a majority of the items reported stolen from the burglarized home, including several pieces of jewelry.

All were arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with simple burglary; and theft over $1,500.

Judge Wilford Carter set their bonds at $2,000 each.
