ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On January 10, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Scott L. Dorow, 27, 202 E. Pine Street, New London, Wisconsin, formerly of Sulphur, in connection with the aggravated burglary at a home on Royer Loop in Sulphur in July 2011.
The investigation revealed the homeowner encountered an intruder, later identified as Dorow, inside his home. After following the car in his truck, the homeowner witnessed the car stop briefly and Dorow jumped out of the car and fled on foot.
After an extensive search by CPSO, Dorow remained at large. A warrant was issued for Dorow’s arrest and his information was put in NCIC. On December 16, Dorow was arrested by Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin where he posted a $35,000 bond and was released.
Dorow contacted CPSO Warrants Division and advised he would be returning to Calcasieu Parish and on January 10 he was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. He is charged with aggravated burglary for the incident on Royer Loop and is also charged with 6 counts of simple burglary; 5 counts of theft; and 2 counts of criminal property damage in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in June 2011 in Sulphur.
Judge David Ritchie set his bond at $176,500.
