CPSO ARRESTS ONE; LOOKING FOR ONE IN CONNECTION WITH AGGRAVATED RAPE

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — on July 29, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home on Elaine Street in reference to a report of an aggravated rape.

The investigation revealed on July 23, Germany D. Bellard, 17, & Desmond Lafleur, 17, both of Lake Charles, climbed through a window of a house on Rhodes Street and had inappropriate sexual contact with a 14 year old girl and a 12 year old girl, with whom they were acquaintances.

When detectives spoke with Bellard he confirmed these allegations. He was arrested on August 17 and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with aggravated rape and carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Judge Wilford Carter set his bond at $35,000.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in locating Lafleur. If anyone knows of his whereabouts, please call the lead investigator on this case, CPSO Detective Steve Rathjen at 337-491-3740.
