ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On August 14 around 10:00 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the Knights Inn Motel in reference to a complaint regarding a man sleeping in an SUV that was running and parked outside of a motel room.

Upon arrival deputies found the driver of the SUV, Clyden Miller, Jr., 51, Lake Charles, who is a resident of the motel, passed out in the driver’s seat of the running SUV with his foot on the brake.

When deputies spoke with Miller, they detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Miller was given a breath intoxilyzer test and his reading was over the legal limit.

Miller, who has two DWI convictions dating back to 2003, was arrested and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged DWI 4th; and possession of alcoholic beverage in motor vehicles.

Judge Wilford Carter set his bond at $3,500
